A Man shot in Easton, police begin investigation

Joseph DumolgaAugust 14, 2025

A man was shot overnight in Easton and is expected to survive.

Police were called to the 1000 block of Ferry Street shortly after midnight for a 911 hang-up. Upon arrival, they found a 35-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

He was eventually taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Authorities believe the shooting followed an altercation between the victim and a group of people.

Easton Police are urging residents with surveillance systems in the vicinity to review their footage and contact detectives with any information.
