Optional King has finally earned his grand prize for winning Mentor Reloaded in February 2020.

Despite fan protests, the artist had to wait nearly two years for the award to be presented to him.
Today, November 12, 2021, TV3 fulfilled its commitment by handing out the keys to a two-bedroom house to Optional King, the pride of the North, during a ceremony.
Optional King triumphed over Chichiz and Myka to win the coveted two-bedroom mansion that was the prize for the winner of TV3 Mentor Reloaded.
The judges praised King for his constancy in conveying the culture of the northern section night after night, describing him as “showbiz ready.”
The entire auditorium erupted in cheers and ovation for the “Tamale Ka Wula” as he received his prize, as though anticipating the news.
Chichiz came in second place and received a return flight to Cairo, Egypt, as well as a GH6,000.00 cash award, two recorded masters of his songs, and other prizes. Myka came in third place as Yaw Black.
