In a remarkable show of solidarity and commitment, three prominent members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have made significant contributions to support the party’s electoral activities in the Abirem Constituency.

Hon. Abdul Hakeem Antwi, Deputy Secretary of the NDC, donated 36 cartons of bottled water, 21 cartons of soft drinks, two bags of rice and GHS 1,000 in cash. These items are intended to facilitate the smooth conduct of the constituency’s elections and to ensure that volunteers and party members are well catered for during this critical period.

Similarly, Hon. Paul Aboagye Dadzi, a former DCE, contributed five bags of rice and committed to covering the transportation costs for 21 individuals traveling to the constituency to vote. This gesture underscores his commitment to enabling party members to participate in the electoral process without logistical challenges.

Meanwhile, Hon. Mavis Ama Frimpong, a former Eastern Regional Minister, donated five bags of rice, a carton of cooking oil, and GHS 5,000. These resources will be used to prepare meals and pay polling agents, ensuring their welfare as they perform their duties on election day.

In addition to these contributions, Hon. Aboagye Dadzi, Hon. Mavis and Hon. Hakeem, collectively donated GHS 5,000, GHS 5,000, and GHS 1,000 respectively to support a major campaign rally held two weeks ago in Abirem during John Mahama’s visit.

Furthermore, Ms. Gloria Mensah generously contributed 40 cartons of bottled water and 40 cartons of assorted drinks on November 27, 2024, to aid in the successful conduct of the elections.

The donations were officially received by the Constituency Chairman and the Parliamentary Candidate at the NDC office on December 3, 2024. The Constituency Chairman expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the party, acknowledging the unwavering support and dedication of these leaders. Their contributions are expected to play a pivotal role in ensuring a well-organized and successful electoral process in the Abirem Constituency.
