Kelvyn Boy Arrested Again With New Charges
The Ghana Police Service has re-arrested Afrobeats star Kelvynboy.
The arrest comes after the prosecutor in charge of the case regarding the alleged mistreatment of a woman with whom Kelvynboy has two children approached the Court with new charges.
Kelvyn Brown, as he is known in real life, was granted a 200,000 bail by the Adentan Circuit Court 2, presided over by Sedinam Awo Balokah, on February 22.
At the second hearing of the case on March Friday, March 18, the court dismissed the allegations against the artist due to a lack of evidence.
Following his release on bail last month, Kelvynboy allegedly beat his purported baby mama again, according to new claims made by the prosecutor.
The judge, Mrs. Balokah, rescheduled the hearing after learning of the additional allegations.
Kelvynboy was re-arrested while walking to his team’s car after the Court adjourned.
Because Kelvynboy has not yet been charged with the additional offenses, the police will decide whether or not he will be given police inquiry bail.
As a result, the singer of “Down Flat” may spend the weekend in police custody before appearing in court on Monday.
