Kabu Banks, CEO of One Love Entertainment, the organizers of the Upper East Music Awards, has urged musicians in the region to be inspired by the story of Rapper Nambawan, who won the Overall Artiste Of The Year award at the recently concluded Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards 2021.
According to Kabu, the rapper was nominated for Artiste of the Year in the first edition of 2019, but lost to B-Wayne.

In 2020, he submitted again in the second edition, but this time he was unsuccessful where RockCity Won it.
Despite these, he filed for the third time for this year’s edition and won it.
Perseverance and hard work, according to Kabu Banks, are the keys to success.
