Obrafour’s new album will include a “dancehall” tune.
Legendary Ghanaian rapper Obrafour will return to his previous style of severe rap, according to his crew.
After years of dormancy, Obrafour, who rose to prominence in the early 2000s with his unique brand of rap, is claimed to have recorded and is ready to release an album.
Wei Y3 Oteng, a music producer and manager, told Giovani on 3FM Drive that the moment has come for Ghanaians to hear the renowned rapper’s amazing hip-hop sounds.
Oteng went on to say that the album is full of surprises that Ghanaians would like, and that the rapper has even tried his hand at dancehall music.
Oteng hinted at a release date by saying the album will be released this year, but he declined to reveal the amount of tracks or artists who will be featured on the masterpiece.
