Ras Wormz Honored By The Upper East Regional Director Of Education

Asampana Michael Abembila, popularly known in showbiz as Ras Wormz has been honored by the Upper East Regional Director Of Education.

Ras Wormz was presented with a citation of honor in a brief ceremony at Bolgatanga.

The regional Director of Education Upper East, Mr. Edward K. Azure, who conferred the citation on him chronicled the events and activities that culminated to the conferment of the prestigious Citation of honor.

”He highlighted my philanthropic works, my stellar performance at the National level and the use of positive lyrics to influence social change are some of the award and the citation, “ Ras Wormz Said in a post on Facebook page.

The lyrical Messiah as he is sometimes  called by music enthusiast, is a gifted artiste who has registered his place among top notch artistes in Ghana. He has a special  story-telling skill that fuses humor, education, and entertainment.

It can also be recall that he was selected as the Best Non-Teaching Staff of the Ghana Education Service, Upper East Region, for the 2020 Ghana Teacher Prize Awards, which were held in Accra.

At the GES regional headquarters, he competed alongside contestants from 14 districts of the region, including the Bongo district.After defeating his other 14 competitors from the 15 districts and municipalities, Mr Asampana won the overall competition.

He won the National Teachers Prize for Non-Teaching Staff as the First Runner-Up at the national level.
