VIDEO: Sarkodie is on the lookout for the farmer who made him emotional
A video of a farmer flawlessly reciting Sarkodie’s “Politics” has sparked sentiments of nostalgia, prompting the rapper to go on the hunt for the man to pay tribute to him.
The farmer could be seen in front of a shack with a hoe hanging on his left shoulder in footage provided by Twitter handle @kwabenaofficial. The farmer, dressed in a blue t-shirt with stripes and a cap, gives the first hint of his willingness to entertain Ghanaians by performing Sarkodie’s song.
The farmer was in character, looking right into the camera and rapping with ease amid gestures, as if he were a performance whose main goal is to entertain his audience.

Sarkodie’s song “Politics,” which was released after the 2008 presidential elections and featured John Evans Atta Mills of the National Democratic Congress defeating Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party, was a hilarious depiction of the activities that marked the elections.
