- Sarkodie Shares Sad Message After Daddy Lumba’s Death
Popular Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has shared his feelings after hearing the sad news about the death of music legend Daddy Lumba. Sarkodie posted a short message on his Instagram story on Saturday, July 26, 2025.
He said he was very shocked and didn’t even have the right words to say how he felt. Sarkodie wrote:
“Only if I had the words to express how I’ve been feeling since early this morning but I don’t … we will all go back to the maker one day but sometimes it’s hard to even entertain the thought when it involves people close to your heart RIP DL !!! Thanks for all you’ve done for us … The legacy lives on condolences to the family I pray for strength.”
Sarkodie, like many Ghanaians, looked up to Daddy Lumba and respected him a lot. His message shows how much he will miss him.
