WHAT THOMAS TUCHEL HAD TO SAY AFTER HIS DEFEAT TO LECEISTER CITY IN THE FA CUP FINAL.
Tuchel on why Chelsea lack killer instinct: “I felt us too hectic, I think it could be something to do with our age. Hakim and Timo are not so young but we could improve there.”
Tuchel: “We are not angry at our performance or boys, we did enough to win it. We weren’t lucky enough to win.”
Tuchel: “I was happy with the work rate and intensity but our decision making was too hectic. We were too straight up front, we tried to force it.”
Tuchel back-to-back defeats could kill momentum?: “There’s no team that never loses in sports. It is about coming back and bouncing back, showing mentality and believing on Tuesday. We missed a trophy and we have two finals vs Leicester and Villa, then another final.”
“We are disappointed and not angry with our performance from the boys. I think the performance is enough to win it. I think today we were unlucky. “Thomas Tuchel on Leicester goal – possible handball: “I didn’t see it. My assistant saw it on the screen on the bench & the players said it straight away that is was a handball. For the second time, there was a handball against Arsenal & VAR didn’t intervene.”
