Hon Kennedy Agyapong spends Gh100,000 on a second copy of Asamoah Gyan’s ‘LeGyandary’ book.
Asamoah Gyan, Ghana’s all-time greatest goalscorer, introduced his latest book at the Kempinski Hotel on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
‘LeGyandary’ is a book that takes readers on a journey through Gyan’s early years and his ascent to prominence as possibly Ghana’s greatest-ever striker.
If read, the book will also put to rest some doubts concerning his interactions with people both inside and outside of Ghana.
The book launch drew dignitaries from government such as Akufo Addo and Kennedy Agyapong, celebrities, and football legends such as El Hadji Diouf and Patrice Motsepe, President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
In a speech, the former captain of the Black Stars said that the new book can motivate future generations to give back to their communities.
At the launch, Kennedy Agyapong lavished a stunning sum of 100,000 Ghana cedis on the book’s second copy.
