Spotlight On “Yawa Boyz Comedy” The Most Vibrant Comedy Group In The Upper East Region.

The Yawa Boyz Comedy Group is undeniably popular in the Upper East Region. The idea to start the comedy was born by these young guys; King Zamunda, Yagi Levels ,Ican ,Ohema smart ,Jay mute, Breezy and Princebrown.

In a chat with King Zamunda, on behalf of the group, he said they were inspired by The likes of mark angel and his achievements through comedy.

According to Zamunda, he began acting in school drama and received full support from his classmates and friends. He told himself that he would never stop acting and that he would work hard to reach the level of Nollywood’s retired actor Olu Jacob.

“To educate the youth on recent behavior portray on the streets from both Gender to stay away from negative side and focus on the positive side of life” He said is the goal of their comedy skits.

When asked what impacted the group’s decision to post skits on social media platforms, he stated that their followers sold the idea to them. When their performances at events grew increasingly famous and people noticed how funny they were, some of their fans approached them and suggested that they join a drama group and publish their skits on YouTube,Facebook and Instagram.
