2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, Kendrick Lamar Takes Home Six Awards, Tems Won One, and Black Sherif Loses

The BET Hip Hop Awards 2022 were held last night in Atlanta on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, and there were a number of famous artistes who made their mark and announced the winners of the prestigious awards.

Last night, Kendrick Lamar won six awards, making him the big winner and the show’s leader.

With her song “Wait for you,” which she co-wrote with Future and Drake, Nigerian singer Tems also won an award for “Best Song Of The Year.”

In the Best International Flow category, Ghana’s Black Sherif, a highly talented musician who made his debut in 2019 and received his first nomination, fell short to French artist Benjamin Epps.
