Ohemaa Mercy’s ex-husband has addressed her recent remarks about their divorce, which stirred controversy. A few days ago, Ohemaa Mercy claimed that the Holy Spirit sanctioned her divorce, a statement that many have criticized. Some are particularly upset that she is seeking alimony, despite doubts surrounding her claim.
Her ex-husband, Isaac Twum Ampofo, who had remained silent until now, has urged people to ignore her comments and focus instead on the positive aspects of her recent Tehila concert.
“Let’s focus on God’s goodness—the thousands who encountered Him, the miracles, and testimonies. Let’s keep the conversation centered on the impact of this event,” he wrote.
He also took the opportunity to praise Ohemaa Mercy, congratulating her for her dedication to worship and praise, and praying that God continues to use her mightily.
