Black Sherif Gets Sworn In As The “Youth Chief” In Tamale (WATCH)

Rapper Black Sherif has been crowned the Nachin Naa of Tamale by traditional rulers in the Northern Region in recognition of his achievements in the music industry.

As part of the promotion for his debut album, “The Villain I Never Was,” which came out on October 6, 2022, the new “Youth Chief” of Tamale is currently touring the region.

On Monday, October 10, 2022, the rapper was honored with a solemn coronation at the Dakpema Palace.

Blacko was seen in a rich Northen smock and matching headgear fit for royalty in a video of his coronation that went viral online.

Mohammed Ismail Sherif, also known as Black Sherif, expressed his gratitude to the people of Tamale and pledged his support.

The release of Black Sherif’s debut album, “The Villain I Never Was,” which set a new record, comes just a few days after his coronation.
