Govt Won’t Budge On Sticking Point To DSTV-Minister.

The Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Sam George, has dictated that the August 7, Last Offer to MultiChoice Ghana, operators of DStv, to penetrate subscription cost in the country by 30 per cent, or risk losing its disseminating license in the country will not find the middle Ground.

Mr Sam George declare that; “This year, in April, at a time the Ghanaian cedi had seen a 10 per cent appreciation against all major currencies, inflation had dropped by over five per cent, and fuel prices had also dropped, DStv announced and implemented a 15 per cent increase,”

He stated moreover, he was even more influenced in his determination because “the same group operating in Nigeria countermand  price raises  in Nigeria when the Nigerian Officials sued them.
