Nigerian actress Funke Akindele loses mother

Funke Akindele, a Nigerian actress who hopes to become the deputy governor of Lagos State, lost her mother. R.B. Adebanjo-Akindele, M.D.
According to reports, she died on February 7, 2023, Tuesday.
On Tuanesday night, Olubunmi Akindele, Funke’s older sister, announced the information on her Instagram page.
She posted a picture of their mum and said,
“it is with heavy hearts, but in total submission to God Almighty that the ADEBANJO and AKINDELE families announce the passing of their daughter, mother, grandmother and sister, DR. R B ADEBANJO-Akindele, which occurred on Tuesday 07 February 2023.”
“May her gentle soul begin its rest eternal in peace. Amen. Obsequies in honour of her passing shall be announced in due course,” the post read.
However, she chose not to mention the reason of death.
The actress has not yet released a statement in the public following the announcement.
The mother of Funke Akindele held a medical license until her death.
