Rema Singer Divine Ikubor, more commonly referred to as Rema, has explained why he gave his mother everything when he made his first one million naira at the age of 17.
On Sunday, the Vanguard news broadcasting platform posted a report about this event on their Facebook page.
They said that singer Rema said this in an interview with Z100 New York recently.
Rema gave his reasons, saying that his mother needed the money the most and that it was not cool for him to drive when his mother didn’t have a car.
“The person who I knew needed it more was my mom,” he said. Along these lines, I gave all that I made to her. I know it was cool to drive around the city in a cool whip when I was 17 years old. Leaving all of that to her, regardless of the investments she makes… I made my first million naira at the age of 17, but I made more than one million.
