Black Sherif creates history as the first artist from Ghana to join the 2022 class of the YouTube Music Foundry
The Foundry 2022 class will include Ghanaian star Black Sherif, also known as Killer Blacko, according to a YouTube announcement.
Sherif enrolls in the same class as rising Nigerian sensation Joeboy of Baby fame.
The tweet from Google in Africa’s Twitter account congratulated the two rising stars on their acceptance into the program.
“We’re excited to welcome @blacksherif_ & @Joeboy to the YouTube Music #Foundry2022 class, which includes 28 other stars from across of the world. For us, it’s an incredible honor to be able to support these musicians as they expand their creative influence #Africatotheworld,”the page wrote.
