Late Nigerian Gospel Musician, Osinachi’s Husband, Peter Nwachukwu Sentenced To Dë@th By Hanging.
The federal government has charged Peter Nwachukwu, the late popular gospel artist Osinachi’s husband, with 23 counts of assault. Osinachi died on April 8 after he allegedly assaulted her.
The Attorney-General of the Federation charged him under sections 104 and 379 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015.
The defendant was charged with culpable homicide, which is punished by death by hanging under Section 221 of the Penal Code.”
After a series of testimonials from Peter’s children, Osinachi’s sisters, and his parents, he was found to be an abusive man.
Last month, Osinachi of “Ekueme” fame passed away. Several allegations surfaced after her death claiming that her husband was the reason of his death.
On multiple occasions, he was accused of stomping on her abdomen and abusing her.
The allegations were so serious that even Peter Nwachukwu’s children admitted that he used to beat their mother when she was alive.
