President Nana Akufo-Addo’s Personal Bodyguard (Jibril) Constructs An Ultra-Modern Hospital For The Muslim Community
Jibril, one of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo’s personal bodyguards, founded and took over Ghana’s first hospital completely dedicated to Islam.
Jibril built the new Accra Newtown Islamic Hospital with the help of his organization, the Jibril Foundation, and gave the neighborhood’s Muslims the keys.
Because there isn’t a hospital in Ghana that is solely Islamic and caters to Zongos, this idea is unique.
Jibril clarified:
“The project is aimed at our Muslim brothers and sisters who cannot afford the expensive health care delivery currently available in the nation”.
Jibril asserts that when the program is fully functioning, it will be open to people of all various religious backgrounds, not just Muslims.
Muslims and mainstream Christians alike have praised his deed.
