Yinime, The Winner Of Miss Upper East 21, Set To Execute Her Project , Announces Dates And Venue.
Miss Upper East 2021, a Bolgatanga East representative Yinime who was crowned the winner in the 4th edition pageantry is set to start her project (Girl Child Empowerment via Menstrual and Personal Hygiene)
She Wrote: “Menstrual Hygiene is vital to the empowerment and well-being of women and girls in the Upper East Region. The majority of families in underprivileged areas do not consider sanitary pads essential and they are normally considered a luxury. As part of my project as Queen of Happy Man Beverages Miss Upper East Ghana 2021, YINIME CARE FOUNDATION is organizing a Menstrual Health Awareness sessions in
– Adakura Junior High School on Thursday 24th March, 2022 at 11:00 AM and
-Boe Junior High School on Friday 25th March,2022 at 10:00 AM in the Bolgatanga East District. This exercise is aimed to promote the practice and safety of Menstrual Hygiene.
Additionally, YCF will be distributing sanitary Pads, Menstrual Calendars, Detergents and other souvenirs to support these students.
